My First Youth Event at Vintage Faith

We had an All Night event in December with the youth at our church. It was a GREAT time. We had 13 students and 6 adults hang out for the night. We hung out downtown for a photo scavenger hunt. We had a team of girls and two teams of guys...the girls won! Then we went bowling. The second picture is of the leaders (and a couple students squeezing in). Eddie, the guy in the backwards hat, wins the award for "Most Sleep by a Leader at an All Night Event". No joke, he was out by 1:30am...and yelling at kids to get out of the room if they made any noise!
The kids did great all night. We had two new kids, and one of them was overheard on her phone talking to a friend saying, "I'm at this church event and it's REALLY fun!".
By the way, I bowled a 162.

A 162...were you bowling left handed?

What a difference for you to have (a) fewer than 20 kids at once and (2) such an age span!

You can really get to know these kids deeply, and pour your lives into them.

Lucky kids...

Hey Old Skool,

Just a note from the Original Old Skool...

It was good to read up on you and see what has been happening. The way you pour your life into kids is great. Passing onto the next generation... not much you can do that is better...

Take care from Los Alamos...
