I've been working the early shift at Starbucks...4:00am! Which means I get up at 3:20am. When I get out of bed, my nipples are so cold they could cut glass. Getting up that early is great when you're going snowboarding, but not for work. The amazing thing is that people are at the door at 5:00am when we open. I'm glad I don't have THEIR jobs...

I will soon feel your pain according to one of my assist. managers. On Black Friday, I (supposedly) am opening for work at 3:30am because we want to compete with JC Penny's, who is opening at 4am. Words of my assist. manager, "We're hoping they see our gate is open and that they will come spend 1/2 of their money before they go to JC Penny's."....makes perfect sense...

P.S. It is possible that I will close 'til 10pm the night before...you do the math.
I wake up everyday around 5:30 AM just to get some of that brown liquid goodness.
